CIRCUS CIRCUS

This docu-fiction film portrays a group of independent circus performers during a rehearsal session. Their vibrant and friendly atmosphere is disrupted by the opportunity to become part of a professional circus, causing tensions and conflicts among them. The documentary aspect is provided by the real performers who are not actors and the actual rehearsal space. The fiction element is the addition of a narrative that takes the performers out of their routine and places them in a fictional reality created by the competition and the dream-like action.
